A’s continue to dig their own grave

Sweet dreams

Sweet dreams

Chalk up another loss for the A’s. I really think they are trying to re-create the magic they once achieved in the 2002 season when they won 20 straight. However, now they are going to try and do it in reverse… by losing that many in a row. I gotta tell you, I think its brilliant!

Huston Street is done in my book as well as everyone else’s. He throws an ‘A’ pitch and a ‘B’ pitch. Like the good old Nintendo days, however, he doesn’t move the ball to either side of the plate, he just fires them right down the middle to get smoked. Street who is 1-4 with a 6.00 ERA and four blown saves in his past 16 games, should dig his own grave. In fact, he should also dig a spot for Barry Zito next to him as well.

On the bright side of things, Carlos Gonzales had his first career 4 hit game. Carlos is a gamer and is going to be exciting to watch in the future. Also, there was a superzieglerman sighting. A’s Brad Ziegler added 2 more scoreless innings to up his scoreless streak to 34 innings! Even when the A’s suck, the continue to at least do something entertaining.

Damn Z... no wonder you are unhittable

Way to blow all your trade value on tibetien hookers

Way to blow all your trade value on Tibetan hookers Street!

The Oakland Athletics have been on an absolute terror of late! A smoking 2 - 10 since the All-Star break and a game under .500 for the first time since April 6th!

Huston Street lost another for the A’s today, as they were swept by the worst baseball franchise of all time, the Kansas City Royals. The A’s lost 4-3 Wesdnesday afternoon after the A’s tied it up late in the game. Ladies man, Brad Ziegler pitched 3 more scoreless innings, raising his MLB record scoreless innings to begin a career to 30! At least we have one thing positive to talk about.

I tried to get a word with Huston as he left McAfee Coliseum... but thought twice

Being swept at home, to the god damn Royals has really put a damper on this season. On top of that, maybe the one guy that had some trade value, has been absolute shitty. His trade value has probably dropped to the same price as these 2 hookers seen with him in the photo. It really is sad, sad to see such a good young team be dismantled during a successfull season and then swept by the fucking Royals!

A’s have the day off tomorrow. Thank god. Also, the Big Hurt is expected back as soon as Friday. That is good news, maybe the A’s will score a couple runs now.
