Warriors season in free fall

Yes the season has been over for sometime now, but the energy and excitement that Monta Ellis brought back had really made the season enjoyable again. Now that he is shelved again, plus a pathetically gay loss to the Clippers and now a loss at home to the Bobcats… The dubs are officially back to their free fall they started earlier this season.

Don Nelson gave Jamal Crawford the night off in an attempt to give Cj, Morrow and Belinelli more playing time. This didn’t work out really well, as all 3 of those guys didn’t do a damn thing. Sunday vs. the Jazz Nelson plans on sitting Stephen Jackson, next week its Andris and sometime soon Maggette will be getting his night off.

Well, with the loss, the Warriors get a little closer to trying to get the number 1 pick. The chance of getting it is very slim and even if the Warriors somehow did end up with the worst record, its almost a guarantee they wouldn’t get it either so… yeah. Looking ahead at the draft, the only guy I could really see us wanting is Blake Griffen. Besides him, I don’t think there are many impact players that could come to the dubs and make a difference.

Wow. Did we really just lose to the Clippers?

Man… last night sure sucked the fat one. Heading into last nights game I was feeling pretty good. The Warriors have been playing good basketball lately, Marco and Andris are back and best of all we were playing against Baron Davis and the Clip show, oh and I also had them on the line for ESPN’s streak to a million.

The game started off so well too, up 25-11 with about 5 minutes left in the first quarter… I was sure I was going to have a nice easy relaxing night… that was until Baron hit a classic Baron 3, with no time on the shot clock and 2 guys on him. After that… well, it was ugly. Baron started actually trying (probably the only game this year he has even remotely tried in) and Eric Gordon wouldn’t miss a shot. For a terrible shooting team we sure made them look good (but we make every team look good). Our D was atrocious and our offense wasn’t much better.

All said and done, I started feeling better when I thought about it… I mean, who really cares how we finish the season. I know they want to finish strong but it isn’t going to do anything except give us a worse pick. I’d rather Nelly keep going with the youngsters so we can see a little more or Randolph, Morrow and Belinelli. It also would be great of Brandon Wright ever came back, what the fuck happened to him? His arm fall off? As much as it sucks losing to Baron, cause he is a little bitch, its all good, the dubs are still a better team that the Clippers and next year were going to impress.

We’re going to need a bigger truck

Is it me or are we cursed? What is with the injuries? Seriously if it was Maggette it wouldn’t be very shocking, but Andris? Our iron man?

The Latvian lover went down tonight with what looked like a good little ankle sprain. From the camera view, which wasn’t great, it didn’t look all that bad, but again, it was tough to see. X-rays were negative, which was good, but chances are he will be sitting in the hot tub the next few days along side Brandon Wright and Marco Belinelli who are also both out.

So, that alone pretty much made tonight a failure, win or lose, this is a loss. Well, it doesn’t really matter because we loss the game too. It was close, the Warriors trailed by 2 with only a few minutes left, but the hoser piece of shit ref’s were trying to cover the spread. Thus, they called everything against the dubs at the end and let the suns take it. Then just to line their pockets even more, they kept calling terrible calls to let the suns get a few extra points.

Its a sad night tonight… everyone please take a moment in silence to remember a wholesome friend, a Latvian 1-man army, a hero to some, a lover to others, our one and only… Andris Biedrins. Get well soon little guy.

Injuries have made it tough

I know what your thinking… the dubs know how to take it in the ass… thats not exactly what I meant.

The Warriors have really struggled with injuries all year long. Maggette has missed significant time (umm who didn’t see that coming), Jackson has been banged up all year, Marco is out, B. Wright is out, and Monta has been out all year.

It’s really been difficult for the fan to see what we really have out there. How will this team mesh? When the fuck will they ever even get the chance to mesh. Off topic, whoever came up with the word ‘mesh’ was on something good.

So, here we are, somewhere around the 1/2 point in the season and we have 13 wins. Thats not very good, but there is still some hope. I mean this is the Warriors, usually they stink it up so there is no preassure, then they play good ball over the last couple months of the season to get everyone all fired up for the next year. Its like Bobby Rowell has planned it that way this entire time - that fucking tool.

Its been a sad season for the fans and the team. We won 48 games last year. Why do you dismantle that and rebuild? Why did you not give Baron the extension Mully had written up? Why do you simply let everyone walk in hope that the youngsters are going to be stud? We were 1 good player away from being a top team in the west, 1 fucking big man away, instead now, we are god knows how many away. Its like we are in a every recuring rebuilding mode. In 3 years time, when all of our young guys finally develop into something, its going to be the same shit, we are going to be on the cusp of something special, then half of them will walk and we will go with our new set of youngsters.

The Warriors will cont. to take it in the ass until Bobby Rowell is gone.
