Have the Sharks returned?

The Sharks have not been very good lately but playing back on the home ice will likely change their fortunes. The Sharks beat up on the Oilers the other night. In what was mostly a one sided game, it was a good change. I would think to keep up the intensity would be tough, especially when you are missing a few key guys to injuries and you have like a 20 point lead on the next team.
I guess the only thing really left to play for is the #1 seed in the west, which as nice as it would be, isn’t the end of the world if you end up with the #2 seed. I think that has played a big part in the late lapses by the Sharks. While for other teams every game matters a lot more and they come out 150% to the sharks half ass. Either way, despite the poor play of late, I think the Sharks will still end the season as the #1 seed, and hopefully, just hopefully, they are healthy and motivated come playoff time. It should be fun.
Sharks, Ice and Hell

What do the Sharks, Ice and hell have in common? Well, I’m not really sure. But I am sure that the Sharks are Ice fucking cold and just lost to the Devils… so they are all somewhat related. The Sharks lost to the Devils 6-5 the other night, concluding their terribad road trip and ending my streak for a million dollars on ESPN’s streak for cash game (http://streak.espn.go.com/?addata=2009_STREAK_PAGE1).
The Sharks have been terrible lately, especially that dancing goaltender Nabokov, he’s got to get his head in the game. Sharks come back home now, where they are pretty much unbeatable, hopefully that gets them back on the right track.
Stop lollygagging and play some fucking hockey!

The Sharks continued their string of poor play last night, losing to Buffalo 6 - 5 in a shootout. The Sharks dug themselves a quick hole behind Evgeni Nabokov, who was actually seen frolicking around like a ballerina on numerous occasions throughout the game.
After the Sabers jumped out to a 4 - 1 lead the Sharks finally began trying and actually took the lead, 5 - 4. That was before Nabokov let down his teammates yet again giving up his 5th goal of the game. The Sabers then went on in a shootout to beat the Sharks.
The Sharks have really struggled of late, missing some key guys to injuries and in the midst of a tough east coast road trip hasn’t made things any easier. They really need to get better play from Nabokov if they are going to continue their dominant season, as he has been lit up the last few games he’s played. The only good news from the game is that they are only 1 more game away from ending their road trip and going back home, where they are pretty damn good.
Sharks can’t keep it up

After a great victory the night before when the Sharks out-lasted the Bruins, they followed it up with a gutsy perfomance against the Pens. The Sharks, who have been a man among boys all season long have really started to hit a funk of late. It looks like they just don’t have the energy to keep it up all night long. When this happens to me, I prefer CIALIS, it works great.
Sidney Crosby who is a boy among men, had zero problems as he saved his best for last. Finishing off the Sharks through the 5 hole in such style that Ron Jeremy would have been proud.
The Sharks started their back up goalie against the high-powered Penguins squad and he did a great job. He stopped 35 of the 36 shots thrown at him. Unfortunately for him, he had to play behind a Sharks squad that was without Marcel Goc and was playing for the second night in a row, on the road. The Sharks ended up losing to the Pens via shootout 2 -1. The Sharks were happy to at least salvage a point on a night where they simply didn’t have enough stamina to perform. The Sharks just couldn’t score, which is a shame.
