FUCK YOU LA! DOYERS LOSE! DOYERS LOSE!

The Philadelphia Phillies beat the scumbags from LA 5-1 to win their NLCS series 4-1 and advance to the World Series, but who gives a fuck? All I care about was that the doyers are out! Done! Finished! On vacation baby!

Hey Manny, make those vacation plans now cause you are finished! Ha ha ha!

It was almost as sweet as a Giants victory to see Furcal make 3 errors in the same inning to help the Phillies build a 5-0 lead behind Cole Hamels. It was so so sweet to watch the Phillies celebrate their pennant while the fake baseball fans in LA stared in disbelief. It was so sweet to watch Manny and the other doyers sit in the dugout and watch the Phillies dance around like little girls all over their homefield.

I think the Devil Rays will win the World Series, but frankly, I don’t give a flying fuck who wins! All I know is the doyers are out and everything seems right in the world, at least for tonight.

Giants begin making moves with eye towards 2009

The Giants began the anticipated revamping of their pitching staff Friday, all but officially cutting ties with Tyler Walker, Kevin Correia and Brad Hennessey.

These bums were outrighted to Triple-A Fresno, along with catcher Eliezer Alfonzo, lefty Geno Espineli and infielders Scott McClain and Ivan Ochoa. The Giants also activated left-hander Noah Lowry and right-hander Merkin Valdez from the 60-day disabled list and lost second baseman Travis Denker, who was claimed off waivers by the San Diego Padres.

I like Tyler Walker just because he is super cool and good to the fans, but he really does suck and he’s making $750k and arbitration eligible.

Tyler Walker is silly......but he sucks.

Correia and Hennessey just couldn’t get the job done and are both making over $1 million a year and are arbitration eligible. Under the rules of arbitration, a player can’t take a pay cut over 20%.

Each of the outrighted players can opt for free agency except for Espineli, who has not been outrighted before and falls one year short of qualifying for six-year Minor League free agency. A Giants spokesman said that the other six have informed club management that they intend to pursue their options in free agency, with the possible exception of Correia.

None of these players being gone will cost me any sleep, as the Giants need to revamp their bullpen, Alfonzo is on roids and still can’t hit the ball and Ochoa can’t hit.

Raiders hitting their stride on their way to new lows

October 13, 2008 by Slicker · Leave a Comment

The Raiders apparently are taking the same form as our faulty economy. With no floor to rescue the Raiders or any bail out packages, the Raiders are in complete free fall. After firing the head coach last week, the Raiders responded by putting up 3 whole points on their way to a ass spanking from the Saints, 34 - 3.

The Raiders really do suck. It’s too bad Al Davis fired their head coach too, because he obviously isn’t the problem. The problem is, the team sucks, they are terrible, their offense isn’t any good, their defense isn’t any better, and all their big name players may be good in video games, but can’t play as a team in real life.

The Raiders did nothing right offensively or defensively as Drew Brees (what a fantasy super star this guy turned out to be) picked them apart. Michael Bush of course scored a couple TD’s, as he sure is finding a new role as receiver, even though he always catches a lot of balls out of the backfield, seriously, I would just do that every time, once he gets the ball and is out in the open field he is freaky.

The good news for the Raiders is that they are a week closer to thier next victory, which will be week 13 vs the Chiefs. Until then, the Raider nation is just going to have to suffer.

Rookie’s first NHL goal turns out to be the game winner as Sharks out to 3-0 start

Rookie Lukas Kaspar’s first NHL goal turned out to be a big one Sunday night — the only puck to get past either goalie as the Sharks beat the LA Kings 1-0 for the second straight night.

“I didn’t even see it, to tell you the truth,” Kaspar said of the second-period wrist shot that deflected off the far post and into the net. “I was looking around and I didn’t see the puck and I didn’t see anyone celebrate. Then I see the referee pointing at the net so I was happy.”

Kaspar, 23, shared the spotlight with back-up goalie Brian Boucher who stopped all 21 shots he faced.

“It’s nice to get that first one out of the way,” Boucher said of seeing action in only the third game of the season. “It’s nice to get that first win and it just happened to be a shutout. That’s always nice too.” San Jose peppered opposition goalies with 41 shots on net in each of their first two victories, but mustered only 19 shot in this one.

The Sharks have begun the season 3-0.

“Sometimes you’ve got to find different ways to win,” Sharks coach Todd McLellan said. “By no means was it pretty. A lot of things we could have done much better.

“But the test for us tonight was the fatigue factor, playing three in four nights early in the season,” he added. “I’m not sure we passed with flying colors, but we found a way to win.”
