The Streak Continues

The A’s continued their steak of consecutive losses. Supporting a 4 run lead, Duchcherer could not hold it and blevins blew it, leading to the 10th straight loss. The A’s were swept by the Jays and continue their impressive quest to immortality. With 10 losses in a row, the A’s have set their sights on the Magic number of 26, achieved by the Spiders in 1899.

The other streak by Ziegler was also expanded. Ziegler threw 1 shutout inning improving is record of 35 innings without allowing a run to start a career. Pretty impressive stuff. Looks like the A’s have a replacement for Street.
